Thanks for your recommendation, I think Puppet might be the right tool.  I'm also looking at spacewalk as a replacement of RHN Satellite server, but then I'm having problems checking in Ubuntu/Deb and older versions of CentOS.

Systems management?  Such as?  That's a really open ended question.
However, if you're looking for a way to manage configurations/packages
and updates, I'd look at Puppet or CFEngine.

I'm rather partial to CFEngine, but I've used Puppet in the past.  I
use it primarily for keeping all my systems up to date with latest
patches and making sure the system is state is consistent.  (More the
former than the latter.)
