any reason why you're using logical volume management?
Have you booted up in rescue mode, what does "dmraid -s -g" say about
the RAID containers and subsets?
LVM is setup by default as far as I can tell. I wouldn't have used it
at all except I wanted to change as little as possible from the default
install as I seem to be running into a problem.
dmraid shows no raidsets at all.
dmraid -d -g
No RAID disks
