I do have those options set at boot, I posted before and after I installed the
nVidia drivers, so i probably caused some confusion there.

So, yes, a strange sddm issue. I get the feeling it may be trying to use an output
which isn't really connected.
What is the output of "xrandr" after you've successfully logged in?
