Seeing this not in gnome (gnome-terminal), and not on the virtual terminals (ctrl
alt F1,...).
FWIW, I can duplicate this behavior in gnome-terminal. All I need to do is Edit the
Profile Preferences and pick "Custom font" and Monospace Regular with a size
greater
than 13.
