Hi all,
Running F23, and my shell is /bin/bash.
My problem: suppose you define an alias:
alias x='echo PAR=$1'
Now call the alias by:
x 1
Output: PAR= 1
My question: why do I get the blank before the "1"?
All comments are welcome.
I have no idea as to why (personally I would think its 'not as right
as it could/should be'),
but I just checked my F8 system, and it behaves the same way. My
'really' old UNIX
system is down right now, so I can't check to see what it does.
