I
just got a Galaxy for my corporate phone. No instructions;
Samsung GUI is taking a lot to learn, coming from a BB and Gnome!
My first touch screen...
Anyway, I have mp4 lessons on this system that I would want to
view on the Galaxy. Is there any 'eazy' way to do this? I plug
the Galaxy into my notebook and it only goes into charging mode.
FWIW, jmtpfs (
http://research.jacquette.com/jmtpfs-exchanging-files-between-android-devices-and-linux/)
works for me on my Motorola Razr-i (Android 4.04) switched to
MTP-mode.
Just got jmtpfs-0.4.tar.gz from this site and compiled the source
(with some glitches due to missing dependencies: flibmtp-devel,
libusb1-devel, fuse-devel, file-devel).
But now jmptfs is able to mount the interior memory as well as the
sd-card.
