How do I fix this problem?

Help! I can no longer boot F12
by Dan Thurman
Apparently, my disk started failing and dropped
some critical files.
I tried to use LiveCD but I cannot do a linux rescue
What I planned to do was to yum reinstall and try to
recover what is missing.
Does this make any sense?

Routing packets through specific interface
by Alex
Hi,
I have a host with an ethernet interface and an alias that I've
created. I need packets to specifically be routed through the alias
interface because that is the IP address the remote host is expecting.
Should I do this using SNAT or otherwise with iptables? Does someone
have an example they can forward on for routing all packets through a
specific interface?
Just to be clear, when I telnet to a specific port on a remote host,
the remote host receives it as the primary interface. It should be
leaving the source through the virtual IP.
Thanks,
Alex

Question regarding broken package dependencies
by Christopher Svanefalk
Should I report this somewhere? I am not using updates-testing.
Error: Package: springframework-context-support-3.1.1-10.fc17.noarch
(updates)
Requires: freemarker >= 2.3.19
Available: freemarker-2.3.13-14.fc17.noarch (fedora)
freemarker = 2.3.13-14.fc17
You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem

Download video from vimeo
by Junayeed Ahnaf
Hello,
In windows, there's this software called Internet Download Manager (IDM) which performs all sort of cool grab and stuff, it even shows a tiny download button on top of videos through which I can download them.
I was wondering if there's something like that for Linux too. I usually use aria2 with a cute UI (https://github.com/ziahamza/webui-aria2) but it would be really nice if I can at least post the link of a video and have it downloaded through a desktop application.
You guys know anything?

From various ditros have informed, that NM stopped autoconnecting
mobile broadband dingel dongels. Yes it is true. An what is mystery, it
it is still "broken".
Please, some of you NM guys reading this list, fix it. There is lot's of
reports done. So, is it purpose, or Bug? It has worked before 0.9
series.
