Hello everybody
We (the French translation team members) noticed that the s-c-printer.po file has been modified by a @debian.org people.
Then my question is : was the s-c-printer translation taken from somewhere else than translate.fedoraproject.org ?
If yes, why and who is upstream then ? Because I can't see any activity from Josselin Mouette joss@debian.org in https://translate.fedoraproject.org/submit/module/system-config-printer?bran... In https://translate.fedoraproject.org/POT/system-config-printer.trunk/system-c... he commited his translation two days ago.
Thanks for helping me understand something.

It was submitted through bugzilla. I am the upstream for that project. I verified that the translation looked sane and was not trampling over recent translations, as best I could.

(having now read the discussion in the bug report...)
How should I handle externally-submitted translations in the future? I would rather have all translations submitted through Transifex.
Unfortunately there have been a lot of strings added to system-config-printer in recent weeks due to a large feature addition, and that has probably made the problem more visible. I will be making a stable branch for system-config-printer very shortly, and Fedora 9 translations should then be focusing on that -- I will send a message here when that happens.

In the current state of Transifex, only Fedora translators can submit files using it. Enabling more communities, and also open up registrations for any person to contribute to projects that would like that, is on Tx's roadmap. Not sure when this will land though -- probably when FAS2 is rolled out with OpenID support.
Suggestions on how to handle permissions, external contributors, etc, welcome.
