I think that should not make problem with i18n,
as I translated with Kbabel and showing no problem for "\r"
meanwhile, which Tool are u using ?
I use Emacs, but I use to use "msgfmt" to check the po file, and
"msgconv" to reformat long lines.
msgconv is the one that gave me that error message.
"msgfmt" is part of the gettext tools, the basic library
(
http://www.gnu.org/software/gettext/) that makes i18n and l10n happen
in most of the open-source projects.
Since msgfmt complains about \r, it would be good to fix this. \r should
be replaced with \n.
