Hi,
Hello
I was wondering how I can add myself to the Tagalog locale. When I signed
up, I added only English. The sign-up page was rather cryptic.
as you ar already member of our Translation system,
please send mail to i18n|(a)|redhat.com to remove your old account
and then join from following page
http://i18n.redhat.com/cgi-bin/i18n-signup
Press 'Request for 2nd language' button
then put your detail there (if you don't want to use with 2 login name)
I entered a bug to the bugzilla
(
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=215644) to add Iloko.
It was resolved as CLOSED DEFFERED. Now, there needs to be an update to the
docs that mention adding a locale because nowhere do I see in the link that
was mentioned in the bug about the 90% that Jeremy Katz mentioned.
In addition, what constitutes 90%? 90% of anaconda? Or, 90% of the entire
OS? That is what I like to know. After the 90% is done, who is supposed to
confirm that it's 90%?
yes, Jeremy's meaning was that anaconda should be 90% (GUI) to enable
language in Anaconda.
After completing 90%, you can ask in Bug to include in Anaconda,
+ fonts for your language *Must* be in distribution
(Please Remember, that don't means that OS will support your langauge
as More translation from Upstream like gnome etc also required to
see OS in your language)
Furthermore, I'd like to add Iloko to the drop down lists in the pages
http://i18n.redhat.com/cgi-bin/i18n-signup/ and
http://i18n.redhat.com/cgi-bin/i18n-status if at all possible. Who should I
contact in regards?
ok, I will forward your request to our Engineering team
thanks
