Hi,
Top posting:1. Glad to see sprint planning getting more momentum.
yeah was hard work to find a partner for a location. Its so
sucking here, I mean last time the Asia Foundation wanted 30$ just
for electricity from me (luckily Codingate did sponsor that) they
are always unwilling to open their doors and/or want outrageous
prices for renting. Universities are not a reliable partner here
and even they try to get money, there is no difference between the
governmental ones like RUPP or a private one like Norton. Even my
direct connection to the ministry for education isnt helpful here
But I am not willing to pay, I am in trouble already with the
amount of feeding the volunteers unfortunately its here custom not
speaking of that I have to give them water at least for drinking.
And they expecting pizza :( and this comes not cheap here.
2. Since sprint is in May, resolving Zanata issues and completing sprint looks more realistic. ( I will be very happy ,if we can complete Weblate related decision and implementation in this short time)As Piotr says even login in Zanata not working. Do we have ticket for it?
nope, I did ask in #fedora-admin and they trid to figure out who
is managing zanata now :D For me it looks a bit like an openid
problem
3. I think in sprint one item can be check Fedora readiness for KUY locale. See https://pagure.io/g11n/issue/43
I dont get the link to Filipino. For me as I said there will be a long time until something "technical" gets translated web and docs will be here first. As we have already spoken about that, we will face with this language another kind of problem, there is one language code - kdt. But there are 3 writing systems as it can be written in lao, thai and khmer, so we have to figure out at a point how we deal with this but until then, they have enough to do with web and later docs and maybe they loose the passion to translate it, lets see.
happy new year ;)

you see currently problems where are none, first Sprint will happen
after the release of F30 so doesnt matter from this perspective anyway.
Second, also here we see it as a higher priority to translate web first
so there is a lot to do until we will come to any applications where
glibc matters
