I think the IP-based selection is a good thing for India,
but English should be the first possibility, as English as far as I know
is the official language in all of India. Hindi should be    choice number 2.

If we could add more granularity to the IP-addresses that would be fine.
For Europe we have a lot of granularity, so why not also have this data for India.
This is also needed because there  are so many scipts for India, in Europe
we only have 3: Latin, Greek and Cyrillic.

I am working on an ISO standard for choice of language, which would be nice to have input on
and also if you are interested in implementing it.
