Hi,
AFAIK, if the translation status for essential packages is more than 90%, that locale would have a very good chance to be listed for installation. Is Malay alphabet based language? Does it need special font installed?
Tamil just crossed the 90% mark for essential packages. Tamil needs special fonts. What more needs to be done from my side to include Tamil in Fedora Core 2 ? Is it too late for Tamil to get into FC2 ?
Are there GPL-licensed Unicode Tamil fonts?
Yes, there are. One such font is : http://www.geocities.com/csd_one/fonts/vaigai.zip
