Hi
I Had short update meeting with Zanata team last week.
Please feel free to discuss the following take-away and the detail
should be adjusted accordingly, or add topics for next meeting.
Here is the summary;
* Very little bugs filed of RFE
In order to make actual move easier and smoother, translators need to
tell Zanata team what we want via bug. While no project registered in
test instance makes testing harder. Demo projects will be added. => Done [1]
* F21 schedule change
Current translation deadline is 16-Sep. To avoid hassle, the move should
occur after this date. Stage0 period can be extended. While, Zanata team
will be ready to provide production version in two weeks.
* Move - developers (packages)
The transition frame is one month. Documentation and support system to
be provided by Zanata team. Noriko will contact devel team to set best
timing for them.
Which packages are we talking about precisely?
* Move - translators
Every language coordinator ensures smooth move?
* Language code
By default, Zanata uses the format xx-XX (e.g. ja-JP) while we currently
use the format xx (e.g. ja). Shall we use Zanata default, otherwise
every two code 'xx' requires mapping? => Bug filed [2]
