External Bug ID: GNOME Desktop 1002
Description of problem:
My problem is: I add FlatHub and I install gnome-recipes (org.gnome.Recipes),
but it doesn't install org.gnome.Recipes.Locale (language packs) for all
languages. I want czech. I install it with flatpak install --system flathub
org.gnome.Recipes.Locale , I can do it every flatpak install, but with gnome
software is more confortable. If i install org.gnome.Recipes only with command,
it installs langpack too.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
gnome-software 3.24.3 on Fedora 26 with 4.12.8-300.fc26.x86_64.
How reproducible:
You must have antoher language, no English.
Install something from flatpak repo with gnome software and open it.
Uninstall it, and install it with flatpak install command.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Change language (to for example Czech)
2. Add Flatpak repo (Best FlatHub)
3. Install it with GNOME Software (for example GNOME Recipes)
4. Open it, it have English
5. Uninstall it
6. Do command flatpak install --system org.gnome.Recipes
7. Open it, you have antoher language (for example Czech)
Actual results:
English in flatpak installed apps trought GNOME Software
Expected results:
Setted language in flatpak installed apps trought GNOME Software

DE translation review request for krb5
by Robbie Harwood
Guten Morgen,
krb5 received a German translation upstream (originally from the Debian
German localization team). A native German-speaking colleague has gone
over it, but doesn't actually use Linux in German so is unsure how it
compares to other translations.
Would it be possible for someone more familiar to give us feedback? The
.po file is here [1]. I'm fine with relaying comments, but if you'd
prefer, the PR itself is here [2].
Thanks!

P.S. My apologies if this is the wrong venue; feel free to redirect me
elsewhere if so. However, it does seem that trans-de@ is not the
right place; that list seems to be unmoderated but requires
moderator approval to join.

Self-Introduction: Vedran Miletić, Croatian
by Vedran Miletić
Hi,
my name is Vedran Miletić and I have been a Fedora user since version 3
and an occasional contributor over the years (if you would like to know
more about my specific interests, I will kindly direct you to the user
page [1] and the homepage [2]).
My mother tongue is Croatian and, as teacher in a local university, I
have encouraged a student to translate the Anaconda installer to
Croatian a few years ago.
Today I noticed that getfedora.org is offered in localized versions in
addition to the default one in English, and my goal is to provide the
Croatian localization. In the future I would also like to revise the
translation of Anaconda with the UI changes that happened since it was
translated to Croatian.
Cheers,
Vedran

v4l-utils on Zanata
by Yuri Chornoivan
Hi,
There is a v4l-utils project among Fedora/upstream group on Zanata. It
contains templates for v4l-utils 1.8.1 (the current version is 1.12.5)
uploaded 16-Nov-2015.
It is easy to see that the translations are not used by upstream:
https://git.linuxtv.org/v4l-utils.git/tree/v4l-utils-po
Does anybody know the status of this translation project?
Thanks in advance for your answers.
Best regards,
Yuri

Self-Introduction: Christoph Kern, German
by Sheogorath
Hello Fedoras,
here is my little self-instruction:
Name: Christoph
Location: Fulda, Germany
Login: sheogorath
Language: German
Profession or student status: student
About You: I'm 21 and study computer science at a German university
while contributing to various open source projects and try to improve
what ever needs improvements. I always try to find nice ways to allow
people to use free software and have well-integrated systems which work
for them and me (or any other admin). Since I'm let's say 150% correct
when it comes to the German language, I hope I can help to improve the
German translations.
You and the Fedora Project: I'm running Fedora on all kind of
desktop hardware and always had good experiences with it. So I think
it's time for me to give something back and help to improve Fedora. So
hands on, let's get some work done!
