About You: Hello everybody, I'm Bruno Furtado. I live in Rio de Janeiro,
where I work as a SysAdmin at City Hall.
You and the Fedora Project: I work with FOSS over 10 years and always felt
the need to reciprocate in some way. Lately I've been working with Red Hat
products and I run Fedora in my workstation so I decided to join the Fedora
community. I would like to contribute to the team translating everything
that is necessary for the Portuguese.

Some Fedora users reported to me that avahi translation in Catalan has not
been updated since a long time ago, and they said to me that had some
mistakes. For that reason, I fixed the translations in upstream and then I
sent a patch including the upstream changes for all languages.
I'm really very happy to announce you that cockpit includes new languages.
In fact, the upstream team have included the languages what exceed 30% of
translated messages, what it's a great news.

I was wondering if it was possible to give a shout-out to Red Hatters (and
not only) who may want to volunteer their time and skills to translate and
review Romanian localizations for Fedora, or upstream: Gnome or KDE.
Any amount of help is welcome. Review and assistance will be provided to
There is a growing awareness of GNU/Linux in Romania and Fedora has a
unique combination of innovation and stability among GNU/Linux
distributions out there.
