Self introduction Cindy Ludwig German
by Cindy Ludwig
Hello all,
Name: Cindy Ludwig
Location: currently Guildford, UK
User name: cludwig
Language: German
Profession: technical translator, originally economics, process
engineering but surrounded by open source enthusiasts for so long I
would like to understand more about the subject
About Me: language nerd but still enough to learn Linux wise
Me and the Fedora Project: love the community spirit and seeing
familiar names contributing to Fedora projects (the world is so
small!)
As I don't yet know where to start I am happy for suggestions. I would
like to begin with some proofreading to get into the swing of things.
Looking forward to the project work :o),

Bosnian Team on Transifex.net?
by Arnes Arnautović
Been away from https://translate.fedoraproject.org for some time due to
my study and exams but after visiting it I see that "Fedora has migrated
translations to a Fedora team at Transifex.net. Please login to
Transifex.net to add further translations to Fedora software. [...]"
So I went to https://www.transifex.net/ but I couldn't log in. Are
accounts on translate.fedoraproject.org and transifex.net seperate
entities? I'm puzzled because of that message on
translate.fedoraproject.org about logging in. Do I need to make a new
account on transifex.net?
I did that already just in case and my username is aarnes.
Since even before migration bosnian team had me + some other guy whom I
can't contact, my question is: is there a bosnian team on transifex.net?
If there is, how can I join it and if no, how to create it?
I see there is bosnian language on Languages section so it should exist,
right?

Hi
by Begre Béla
Hi,
My name is Béla Begre. I live in Budapest, Hungary. I am a 19 years old
student and I would like to be a software engineer. I have passed an English
language exam at basic level and I am going to take an intermediate one
during this summer.
I have been using Linux for four years. It was UHU 2.0 that I met first.
Since then I have tried several other distributions. For a longer time SUSE,
Ubuntu and Mint were running on my PC. As a Lucid Lynx user I did not notice
any big differences between Linuxes that seem to be very similar at first
sight and I did not know why there are so many of them.
I would not like to use my computer only for ordinary things but for
programming, audio editing and other serious works so I started to search
for an operating system in which simplicity is not the first or the most
important point of view. I have enquired at some Linux communities and
finally one of the Fedora ambassadors, Zoltán Hoppár advised me to try
Fedora so I changed the purple-orange to the blue :)
I like the community of Fedora and I would like to be part of it and I would
gladly help translating Fedora into Hungarian.
Best regards,
Béla Begre (belaqq)
