Spanish translation of Security Guide repaired
by Geert Warrink
I could not stop!
I remembered that I downloaded the Spanish translation of the Using_GPG
chapter for comparison with my Dutch file. I have uploaded the Spanish
file again and everything seems now OK. Please Spanish team can you
check this!
Thanks,
Geert

Re: Problems with Dutch of Security Guide
by Geert Warrink
I'm sorry, but by trying to finish my translation I have by accident
overwritten the Spanish translation of the Using_GPG file with my Dutch
translation. I hope that there is an easy way to get the original
Spanish text back. Again sorry about that, in the future I will look
more carefully at what I'm doing (I probably spent today to many hours
in front of my computer screen).
Other than that, thank you Eric, you solved my problems and I can
continue to finish the translation (but I will not do that today, it
seems I'm starting to make errors).
Thanks,
Geert

Problems with Dutch of Security Guide
by Geert Warrink
I am translating the Security Guide for Fedora 13 into Dutch.
This gives me the following problem:
On the Transifex page Security Guide >> Fedora 13 >> nl-NL
I have 100% translation
But on Transifex page Security Guide >> Fedora 13
the Dutch translation is given only 98%
Clicking on Refresh cache helps not
I also noticed that de Spanish total (2470) differs from the
Dutch total. In fact several of the multiple po files differ
between Dutch and Spanish, such as Encryption_Standards.po,
Revision_History.po and Using_PGP.po. The file PKVulnerability.po
is even not present on the Ducth page!
How can I solve this?
Kind regards,
Geert Warrink

I may need to go into the guide and make sure that everything is
committing properly. PKVulnerability.po was a page from F12 that
shouldn't be in F13 and I thought I had removed it from everyone's po
files. The BIG po that contains ALL the parts from all the other po
files also shouldn't be in there and I thought I had removed those as well.

Let me take a look at the source on the back end and make sure that the
Dutch pos are being properly updated.
Sorry you are having problems with this.

I would like to encourage you to reuse translations from Serbian
Latin, as we have done in the past between Serbian, Bosnian and
Croatian in all directions, with prior agreement between respective
team coordinators/translators of course.
However, please do give credit where credit is due, as we have done in
the past (see e.g. [1]).

Miloš

We (Russian team) have already tried to use Transifex for translating manpages [1]. But we still have some problems with on-line translating. And everything else is all right. So I believe this project can be multilingual.

As I know you can do it with po4a.

Description of problem: Translators unable to upload to tx:

For translators to upload to the SELinux User Guide module, the path for the PO
needs to be changed. Right now it is:
SELinux_User_Guide/po/[^/]*\.po
Apparently it needs to be changed to .*\.po , like the Release Notes.

Master, Default or none for brand new "po" file for the language
by Edmon Begoli
I am going to create a currently non-existing translation of python-meh file.
There is no version in Bosnian so I am creating a file from master *.pot.
How should I name this file if the original is named:
python-meh.master.python-meh.pot
I was planning to name it:
python-meh.master.python-meh.ba.po
Should I name it:
python-meh.ba.po
?
Thank you,
Edmon
