General feedback from translators (which doesn't require any action item on anyone) 2. Publican/Docs Support 4.1 => Check whether James/anyone has time (owner: Asgeir) 4.2 Start working on the support (owner: will be decided after 4.1) o Full meeting minutes: - Shared feedback about new Transifex - Translators have a good impression of the new system - People are pleased that Statistics and Submissions happen on the same page - Feedback on list has been quite positive - Two bugs were found and fixed immediately, upcoming 0.5.1 release in a few days - Where should tickets be filed? - General Transifex feature requests or issues should be filed to http://transifex.org/newticket. e.g. New features - Like new features in Transifex, say sorting of the modules by translation statistics or by name - Show/hide completed modules in Transifex, like Gnome statistics e.g. Issues - %age calculation is not correct or should be according to words rather than words. - issues relating to Fedora specific instance on IRC and/or redhat bugzilla should be filed to fedorainfrastructure e.g. - XYZ modules missing. - Create a wiki page that explains what an upstream and what a downstream ticket looks like. Name: Steven Whitehouse Location: Swansea, UK FAS username: swhiteho Language for translation: Cornish (kw) Profession: Developing the GFS2 Filesystem for Red Hat Other fedora projects: GFS2 (kernel), gfs-utils and clustering generally, package reviews of msp430 related dev tools Comments, suggestions about L10N: There should be a Cornish language translation :-) Obviously this is a pretty big project, so my plan is to try and find bunch of people to help with this. Such an effort needs somewhere to have a wiki and a mailing list, and to hopefully do that via Fedora. See my follow up email (coming shortly!) for more details. New Transifex for F11 statistics + submissions

As mentioned earlier, we're now using the newer Transifex for statistics and submissions for Fedora 11. https://translate.fedoraproject.org/tx/ The new Transifex website should show 100% correct statistics and all pages should show up pretty fast (waiting on the Infrastructure freeze end to also enable memcached to have blazing fast speed). Submissions are enabled for all the projects accepting translations (85 now). Diego has prepared some statistics about the coverage and uptake of the new server: http://diegobz.net/2009/03/22/transifex-05-numbers-from-fedora-project-inst… Here are a few useful tips: 1. You can use temporary 'holds' (locks) to show that you're working on a file. This should help teams which send emails on their list to improve/compliment their workflow. Don't forget to remove your lock once you're finished working on a file. 2. RSS feeds are available for tracking a language's coverage: https://translate.fedoraproject.org/tx/languages/ja/collection/fedora/fedor… 3. The older services are still running: DL is at / and old Transifex at /submit/. We've left them there to keep things simple, however we're considering moving Tx-0.5 on / after the Infrastructure freeze is over. You may still use the older tools, but bear in mind that the statistics might not be 100% correct. 4. Finally, a few known issues which are now fixed in 0.5.1, which will be deployed shortly, can be found here: http://transifex.org/query?milestone=0.5.1&resolution=fixed Please report any bugs in #fedora-l10n and #transifex. tx 0.5 stat update

There seems to be a bug in one of the status page [1]. [1] https://translate.fedoraproject.org/tx/collections/fedora/fedora-11/ For example, the page shows Spanish at a 96%. If I click on that language, it shows a different statistic. regards Domingo Becker (es)
