translation-quick-start-guide
by Fabian Affolter
Hi all,
A lot of stuff from the Doc Team was moved to Fedorahosted and is now
placed in git repositories. Our TQSG is still living in the old cvs.
A few weeks ago I brought up this topic [1] but I was too lazy to push
it straight forward. Because of that, once again...
Move TQSG to Fedorahosted and place the source in a git repository
like the Doc Team.
Are there any objections?
Kind regards,
Fabian

Transifex commit messages
by Paul W. Frields
Would it be possible for Transifex to make a commit message that
includes resulting statistics? That would be a better use of space, I
think. Something like "NNNt/NNNf/NNNu" would be fine, or whatever
translators think is customary. Seeing "translated xx.po" when the
commit message already has "xx.po" in the subject seems superfluous to
me, but better ideas also gratefully accepted! :-)

This is what I did:
* Added the missing Indic languages to:
** fedora-doc-utils/common/*-$LANG.xml (a.k.a. docs-common)
** release-notes/po/$LANG.po
* Updated release-notes/po/LINGUAS
Noriko said DamnedLies updates every ~8 hours, in the meantime the files
are definitely in the git repository for submitting via Transifex.

Dear Noriko,
In the
http://translate.fedoraproject.org/module/docs-release-notes#master, I
find many Indic languages missing including my team - Malayalam (ml).
Marati (mr), Kannada (kn), Telugu (te), Assamese (as), Oriya (or) are
the other Indic languages missing.
Please do the needful.
Thanks in advance.

Release Notes POT
by Paul W. Frields
The release notes POT is (finally!) updated in the git repo. Thank you
to Jared Smith for all his help. There was a lingering bug in xml2po
that is fixed in Rawhide, and Jared had a Rawhide box available to help
with this task.
Do we need to notify Fedora L10n whenever we drop new POT like this? Or
will Transifex automatically record the change? When I look at:
http://translate.fedoraproject.org/module/docs-release-notes
It appears that Transifex understands the POT change, but has incorrect
statistics listed on the page.

Two system-config-firewall typos
by Thomas Woerner
Hello,
there are two typos in system-config-firewall in rawhide. Please have a
look at rhbz#467334 for more information. I have noticed that some
translations are also wrong. For example the german one.
What to do now? Leave it as is or fix the typos?
Thanks,
Thomas
