Router functionality is to "route" i.e. ???? .. so I think unless we can find better word than this, it should be ????
Route as (n), is the path it takes from point A to point B, hence it is not the destination. Hence , it would be ????

Salâm,
In order to finish my homework :), I need to get feedback on the translation of : route and router.
For router, I found ????. For route, I found ???? or ????.
Do you know any official or better translation for these words ?
I just called our CISCO expert and he told me CISCO translates route as ????? in its official books. M$ does the same thing. Still the context may make a difference and let ???? be a better translation. But let's avoid ???? if possible.
