Also I will like to take a look at the LXDE project and would be honored
to see if I can find a way to create a liveCD with LXDE
like your XFCE spin.
It seems to be easy enough to install yourself. I tried it on one test machine. I
installed into /usr/share/texlive-2008, but bins into /usr/bin IIRC.
