Hi,
currently no matter which desktop I choose (KDE or
Gnome) in GDM
screen gnome starts.
Are you able to login to kde? How?
I'm running rawhide with all latest patches.
Cheers,
Valent.

I do it by the following:
append a 3 when grub kicks in
run switchdesk KDE
and type startx at the prompt
It works for me this way. I run GNOME on one of my
machines and KDE on the other, but I see KDE takes too
long and the special effects. In my opinion, like
others have mentioned, it is not there yet. I hope it
comes through, I still see KDE 3.X a better KDE than
KDE 4.X maybe till KDE 4.1 gets here.
Regards,
Antonio
