At least the quick launch panel (the icons in the panel allowing to start apps)
is being worked on. I'm not sure what you refer to with "Quick Task(menu)".

LCD-style clock is apparently not being worked on, but it would be fairly easy
to replace the SVGs of the "train clock" in playground for an LCD look.

Thanks :) Great to hear that. At one point there was a theme for Gnome to get the KDE
Look and the digital clock was one of the things that is well liked not only by me, but by
many. I hope that they can bring it back (Digital clock) the new clock is OK, but the old
clock is a lot nicer and we are more acustomed to it.
