Is anyone else getting this problem in rawhide?
No optical drive found.
K3b did not find any optical device in your system.
Solution: Make sure HAL daemon is running, it is used by K3b for finding
Hal is dead.
In using gnome-tweak-tool, I have nautilus displayed on the desktop,
can see that the blank cd-r is there...
You could just use nautilus to burn the disk then.
this is a major issue for me, and I would like to know how to
this? Is there a cli command to take everything is a certain directory and
write a data disc from it? I have no problems creating a data disc from
command line if it is possible...
Single command no .. but you could make an image using mkisofs and use
cdrecord to burn it.
Oh and btw. optical media should die already ;)
