Hi,
I am planning an upgrade from fc2 to fc3 using the cds. I am connecting
to the internet using a cisco wlan pcmci card. FC2 configures this in
av very strange way as setting it is up as an ethernet card and not a
wireless. In addition it creates 2 wireless devices nick named eth0:1
and eth0:3 - these are not checked but still activated. As a consequence
~ I have a problem in configuring the wlan correctly and are unable to
set the encryption key.
I would like remove all traces of this card from my fc2 prior to the
upgrade and do new hw install of the card incl a fresh configuration.
What is the best/safest way to remove all signes of this card from fc2?
Is it sufficient to delete all devices from the network configuration or
should I edit some config files. If the latter, which files?
thanks in advance,
Truls Gulbrandsen
