I only have a Master, no PCM with this device. Not sure why the mixer
is so sparse (I assume because the driver is in its infant stages),
but no changes in the mixer seem to help.
What do you mean by this being an upstream issue?

You of course unmuted Master- and PCM-Volume with alsamixer? (Maybe

I tried this today on another intel board and failed also until now.
Seems merely and upstream issue ATM AFAICS.
