Yes, it's not the kernels fault but the XFree86 version. I have
XFree86-4.3.0-18 from rawhide where it apparently doesn't work, even
with the 2.4.20-19.9 kernel. The upgrade to rawhide was done at the same
time as the kernel upgrade. I had been running rawhide all along on two
systems and just upgraded the third. I just didn't notice that it
stopped working.
