Gparted does not show the filesystem types? If it does, how do I run it?
Try:
parted /dev/sda print
You may abbreviate "print" as "p":
parted /dev/sda p
Parted examines the filesystems on the partitions. In case it recognises
ext4 already, it would print that.
I tried LiveCD, but it does not show what filesystem type it is.
fdisk shows:
[root@riohigh ~]# fdisk -l
fdisk doesn't examine a partition's filesys type.
