Yeah, just sucks more now that it is mine :P


I have found a work around, not sure if it was stated in a bug or not, but anyway.

I booted the livecd(x64)
graphics bailed (duh)
vi /etc/X11/xorg.conf
added  Modes "800x600" to the Display section

        SubSection "Display"
                Depth   24
                Modes   "800x600"
        EndSubSection

startx

And I'm trying an install now.
