Let me explain this for you since no one else on this list wants to
spend the time.
I already did, last night, off-list by private email, which was the
appropriate venue.
Fedora develops against open source software. The drivers from AMD
and
nVidia are *binary* and *closed* source software. Fedora/Red Hat
developers cannot assist you in any way if those drivers do not work
with the software distributed with Fedora.
You have two options.
1) Use an open source driver (ati or nouveau)
The latter is not going to help with 3D support, as it doesn't have any
(practically speaking) yet.
It's ironic that you cut out the bits of the original mail which
actually mentioned ATI and NVIDIA, and quoted the bit which talks about
Intel, which is an open source driver. Someone's suggested something for
that bug already. personally, I'd like to see 'lspci -nn' output so we
know what adapter we're dealing with.
