Is there any x86-64 mobo that does work completely with FC1?
Well with the opteron boards with the nforce3 chipset im gonna say no..
but drivers work on some and not on others. im still workin on mine.
if you buy the regular 64 bit chip.amd64 3200+ they have more choices of
boards. So you can go with gigabite asus or some other one i think msi.
Then you can choose a VIA chipset and im sure things will be fine. With
my SK8N board i just put an older nic in for now until i get the drivers
worked out. But if you buyyy the regular 64 and not the FX or opteron
you will have have the onboard cache. 64 = 512 and opteron and FX 1024
but the price diff is alot..
