Messages such as the following during execution of "yum --skip-broken
update" on F12 rawhide:

Yum recovered gracefully by downloading 29 full packages from a total
of 54, but I suspect this is not supposed to be necessary.  Is it
likely some transient inconsistency in repository data files caused
the trouble?

The full console log for this yum transaction is at:

 http://ryniker.ods.org/errors/presto

I had the same issue today ,and have solved it .

It has occurred while the now former version('s) of presto where not able
to read the two kinds of .xml info files present in yumcache .

That's indeed because of changes done in general  on yum.

To solve ; in shell :

#yum makecache

when finished :

#yum update

You'll find updates for presto  ,and probably dependency's .

PackageKit won't do the job ,it'll not find the updates because of the former

Greetings

Martin
