By the way - booting into runlevel 3 and running 'startx' works fine.
Still trying to figure out the cause of this one..
This was apparently a problem with X loading SELinux policy; it should
be fixed in today's rawhide (with Xorg 1.4.99.1-0.26.20080337.fc9)
