Sure. But this is a new version. So, a change could have been made that is causing
this.
In any case I think that it is a bad issue. I can suppose that many people use virtualbox, for instance as a way to try Linux distributions, and shipping a release not booting on it, isn't nice.
Saying this I mean that we should better investigate this issue.
