yesHOSTNAME=? Is this an error when you pasted into the email. It
should be HOSTNAME=

It is not a pasting error, it actually exists in /etc/sysconfig/network

I filed bug 230102 against system-config-network, probably the wrong component, but could not find a more obvious one to use.
