I've added wtogami to the cc list for his thoughts on whether
livecd-iso-to-disk is intended/supported for writing CD or DVD
install media to a USB stick.
For the Live ISO or the install ISO? It is intended for Live but not
install. That being said I did add some code to make it work for
F-12's install ISO. But that was a very minimal effort and others
were not pleased with adding yet more code to that ugly script. In
the long-term that kind of functionality should be added to and
supported in liveusb-creator, and livecd-iso-to-disk should die.
The install guide now shows that livecd-iso-to-disk can be used to boot
a boot.iso|netinst.iso from a USB key. Should this be changed to direct
users to liveusb-creator?
