Using kernel-2.6.15-1.1825_FC4 I'm not seeing my sata DVD drive as
a /dev/sdc.
Previous versions saw the drive as a scsi drive, but this time it's
seeing it as /dev/hdc.
Unfortunately, I updated to both udev and the new kernel at the same
time, so this might be kernel related.
I'm going to try the older kernel to check and will report soon.
Hmm, just tried kernel-2.6.15-1.1824_FC4 and it no longer sees my SATA
DVD drive as a scsi device.
Dave, could udev affect this? And should I file a bug?
R.
