I'm maintaining the xorg-x11-drv-openchrome package, which provides the
X driver for VIA IGPs and it never received any karma from a proven
tester, most probably because this hardware is not available to any of them.
So I think there are 3 options :
- A proven tester with the hardware steps up and helps with this package.
- The package is removed from CritPath.
- All updates stays in the updates-testing repo forever.
I can't find anything about removing a package from CritPath in the doc.
Orphaning the package is not really an option I'm interested in ;-)
It would be awesome to get TC3/RC2 built today but we still have some
outstanding issues to deal with before that can happen.
I've started keeping notes in an etherpad doc to help understand the
current status on all of the issues. Any help on getting these resolved
to the point that we can get a new TC/RC built today would be awesome.
Also, please update the document with progress or anything that is
Bugzilla? More details? Exactly what is broken how?

I know that I am truly jumping the gun on this one, but I would love to know
I have downloaded the tarball for this package, and it works perfectly! I
am so excited to see that this package works out of the box...
Using Adobe Square FlashPlayer 11 rc1, I can access flash data from the
internet, but no other plugins are available that work using Firefox-6.0.2
Is there anything that I can do to get these other plugins working once
again? I have no problems in re- compiling packages if that is the

I've been getting these problems for a while in f16 updates:
Packages skipped because of dependency problems:
opencv-2.3.1-1.fc16.x86_64 from fedora
openni-18.104.22.168-0.5.git4c9ff978.fc16.x86_64 from fedora
tbb-3.0-1.20110419.fc16.x86_64 from fedora
Anyone else seeing this or know if it is likely to be
fixed soon? (Not sure why I have any of this stuff
installed - probably just copying rpm lists from f15).
Just to let you know that I've recently upgraded my Fedora box and hit
This is a recurrent problem that was present on F13, F14, was fixed on
F15 and now it makes a triumphant return on F16. I don't think many of
you will be hit, but now that I'm trying to follow Fedora-QA a little
better, I thought it'd be a good idea to share.
On today's 20110921 Rawhide updates, I got this error running "yum --skip-broken
distro-sync" during the cleanup. I've seen this several times over the last few
weeks, on F16 as well I think. The message itself is completely useless, since
there isn't enough time to look at the file before it's replaced by another one,
and I don't find anything in the logs. It should be easy to fix the package
responsible, if there was a way to find out what it is. Anyone know?
