Package setuptool-1.18-1.i386.rpm is not signed
by Charles Curley
The subject says it all: "Package setuptool-1.18-1.i386.rpm is not
signed". The obvious work-around is to turn off GPG checking in
fedora-devel-repo.
Shall I bugzilla it?

FC5T2 on Thinkpad X41
by Tom London
Bottom line: successful install.
Main issue: device probing produces a hang after installing AHCI driver.
Booting with 'noprobe' bypasses this.
I completed installation by manually selecting the Broadcom tg3
network driver and the Intel-sata disk driver. (The x41 has an Intel
82801FBM Ulta ATA controller.)

FC5t1 Xmms player font- all letters now boxes
by EB
Forum-
I just noticed that the font is broken for all entries on the pulldown
menus for my XMMS player under FC5t1. Every letter is now replaced by a
small box of dashed lines. Can anyone point me to what I broke, or what I
can repair?

Orninoco Wireless and FC5T2?
by Don Harper
Has anyone gotten this working yet? Clean install, updated as of about
0900 CST today. I plug the card in, it see the card, tries to bring up
wifi0. Syslog says it is broadcasting a request, but my DHCP server never
sees the request.
I have another laptop with a Prism54 mini-pci card, and it works flawlessly.
Suggestions?
Don

xorg and Thinkpad T41p
by Russell Coker
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc M10 NT [FireGL
Mobility T2] (rev 80)
Above is the output of "lspci" which relates to the video device in my
Thinkpad.
Load "glx"
Load "dri"
When I have both the above lines in my xorg.conf file my machine will
repeatedly and rapidly lock solid. It crashes so badly that the caps-lock
light will not display and that ICMP echo packets do not get a response.
It crashes even without any local input, I can ssh to my Thinkpad, run
"startx" and then have it die without touching the keyboard or mouse.
This is on FC5T2. Is this a known issue?

Shutdown in Gnome not shutting down
by Clyde E. Kunkel
If I click the menu entry Shutdown, then if I click either "reboot" or
"shutdown" I get a new gdm login screen. The only way I see to reboot
now is CLI reboot.
This is an x86 system kept up-to-date since FC3 final using rawhide, so
I would say it is FC5T2 + rawhide.
On a similar system with FC5T2, clean install, updated daily from
rawhide, the shutdown gui works as expected.
Any ideas?
Anyone else seeing this? I tried to find a bz on it, but may have
missed it, since not sure what component is involved.
