There was mention some time back on the list about the new mouse pointer
and how the busy mouse pointer doesn't have a point making it quite hard
to point at things while it's showing busy.
Is this intended to be fixed before FC5?

Updated today to the 1499 kernel and all 20050819 rawhide my dns resolution
goes away. Booting to 1492 I686 kernel fixes the problem. Physical Ethernet
adapter appears to be working with 1499 kernel. I can not however ping
outside of my network. Maybe default gateway goes away?
Yesterday I copied the boot.iso from
and used it to start an installation via http or ftp on a
pseries (squadron). I received the error below. I am not sure
I understand why anaconda is complaining. The directory I entered
for installing was /pub/fedora/linux/core/development/ppc/.

I would like to know if anybody know how to install a CLP-510 Samsung
Color Laser Printer
on a Fedora Core 3 computer?
I was able to install the PPD file in CUPS but the problem is that the
CLP-510 use a proprietary
protocol that is not compatible with PCL or Postscript.
I don't know how to configure a different filter in CUPS.
On the Samsung WEB site, we can find an old Linux Diver but It did not
installed on a Fedora Machine.
Thanks for an answer to this weird problem

I've been studying Haldaemon and how it loads cdroms that users insert.
I *guessed* that haldaemon would duplicate/replace the job done by
autofs and so I removed autofs. But then cds that get inserted don't
mount themselves anymore. Does that happen on your systems too? Why?
Aren't those daemons doing the same job?

Am I doing this right?
If I want templates to be available via the wizard, I just need to bung
them in ~/.openoffice.org2.0/user/template or define via Tools->Options
to look in a certain directory for them? They don't need to be in any
specific directories within ~/.openoffice.org2.0/user/template do they?
I'm using 1.9.124-3.2.0 from todays rawhide.
