I don't know, Python is supposed to manage memory for us. How much extra
RAM usage are we talking about here?
Some things you might try:
- If you use another backstore type, like File or Ramdisk, does the RAM
usage also go up?
- Stick a print() in to see if the number of elements in bs_cache is
going up?
- Are stale configfs entries being left around in
/sys/kernel/config/core/* at any level for deleted devices?
