The configuration saved by the saveconfig command in tagetcli-fb does not seem to get restored automatically after reboot. Automatic restore works in the released version of targetcli. Is this a bug in targetcli-fb or I have to do something more to get the automatic restore to work? Manually issuing restoreconfig in targetcli-fb after reboot works though.
Thanks,

You need to enable the target service:
sudo systemctl enable target.service

Hi Andy,
Thanks for your quick reply. My installation does not have target.service in /usr/lib/systemd/system. As a result, the above command failed on me.
# systemctl enable target.service Failed to execute operation: No such file or directory
Do you know where I can get target.service? My system is 4.1.12-49.el7uek.
Thanks,

It looks like you're on a RHEL7-based distro? (Oracle?) On my rhel7 machine, /usr/lib/systemd/system/target.service is provided by python-rtslib-2.1.fb57-3.el7.noarch, should be the same for you I'm hoping?
Thanks -- Andy
Yes, it is RHEL7-based Oracle Linux. It came with python-rtslib-2.1.fb57-3.el7.noarch installed. But when I installed rtslib-fb, I deinstalled it. I did not know that both rtslib and rtslib-fb can co-exist. It works now after I grabbed target.service and had it enabled. Again, thanks greatly for your help.
