As far as I can tell, this is not included with the fedora sway
package. As this could be useful for most users of fedora on sway, I'm curious if
including this has been considered by the SIG.
This is the first time that I'm hearing about this wiki page;
so unless I'm missing something, it has not yet been considered :)
My personal PoV
TL;DR:
I'm wary about packaging "community-maintained" wiki page,
but if anyone is willing to take on the responsibility for maintenance
of the unit files, I see no problem of including them as a separate package.
Long version:
It could definitely be useful, but I would be wary of making a package
from a wiki page, especially one that is (from the wiki page itself)
community-maintained and are not supported by sway.
In other words, there is no one specifically responsible for that unit
files, and we would have to assume the responsibility ourselves.
If you are willing to take that responsibility, I would suggest turning
that wiki page into a proper project and making a package from it
– that way we will have a designated person to bug with bugs,
and the eventual improvements would be easily shared with other
distributions.
Alternatively, you can try to convince upstream to officially include
them in the sway project, in which case there should not be any major
problems including it into the sway package ;-)
