Maybe we can get a discussion going on what needs to be done then to tackle something like
this. I personally do no know the work involved but having a "tiling" spin that
can support both X11 and Wayland would be amazing especially since the configs are
compatible.

I don't think that it would be too much work once we have the i3
spin,
but it is work that has to be done. There were proposals for a sway
spin in the past, but we (= the sway SIG) didn't have the manpower to
tackle that. Depending on how the i3 spin goes, this could change
though.
