I'm a Computer Science student presently in 2nd year of my graduation.
I'm willing to participate in Google Summer Of Code 2013, and considering my
interest in Linux, I think there's no better organisation than Fedora to
I'd like to get some help on how to get started with coding for this awesome
project and do that all this summer.
I've been using linux since last 4 years and I'm very willing to start
developing open source apart from just using it.
Thanks a lot in advance,
Great to see your interest. However GSoC 2013 is not yet announced and
there is no certain whether Fedora can make it or not.
As you have mentioned with in the Fedora project there will be more
projects in variety of areas covering many programming languages and
technologies. You can find something that suites you, that is the
special advantage I see in Fedora project rather than other
organizations. Fedora is one out of such but not the only one.
Please do start contributing and getting familiar with the community
and if you want help you have many channels to use. We are ready to
help you at any time.
