Dear Remy!
Can i disturb you for a little time?
My name is Lajos Kovács. I'm checking the fedora project on the google
summer of code page and i saw that you are a mentor in the fedora-hubs
project.
I dont have too much information about GSoC, but the previous GSoC students
on my University said, that i have to write to you an e-mail.
In a nutshell I study on the University of Debrecen in Hungary. Beside the
Uni, i work at Zen Heads as a Front-end developer(AngularJs) and as Back-end
developer(Python, Python Django). I used to work with PHP and PHP frameworks
as well. I use Flask too for my own projects and i'm working on a house
project called "Smarter home with Raspberry Pi and Python".
My questions are:
Can you help me with some answers?
Do i have any chance get into the GSoC project with fedora with these
skills?
Can we "chat" on irc channels?
With kind regards,
Lajos Kovács!

Lajos,
Great to meet you!
I'm excited to hear you're interested in participating in GSoC with
Fedora this year. Based on your skills listed above, I think you could
be a fit for a couple of our project ideas, Fedora Hubs Included.
On our GSoC organization page, there is a detailed process for getting
started. You can find that information at the bottom of the page
here:
https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com/organizations/5630777857409024/
Start by introducing yourself to the summer-coding list and the various IRC
channels (#fedora-summer-coding, #fedora-apps, and #fedora-commops)
and then work with mentors to figure out your next steps.
We Look Forward to getting to know you,
--RemyD.
