Hi Pawel,

I'm joining manually.

Hi Jaya,

If you are calling "realm join" manually or this is a part of some machine startup scripts?
I remember a similar issue from the past. Back then it was caused by late name resolution and as result
server name was not translated into IP at the time when "realm join" was called.

Best regards,
Pawel

Hi,

I'm trying to join AD on Ubuntu 20 machine. When I'm using realm join I'm always getting error message, insufficient permission even though I'm admin. My Ubuntu machine and AD machine are under different private ips.
I even configured local DNS and able to do nslookup for srv records. Can somebody help where I'm missing?
