Hi Ben,

I'm interested in merging the patches as long as they don't break MIT
support,

I see. There is one functional change: "heimdal: Change password using krb5_set_password"
This applied to both mit-krb5 and heimdal.
And I have to admit I did not yet test password changing with it. Will do.

just please note that there is no Heimdal on Fedora and so far
most upstream developers run Fedora or RHEL, so testing from our side
would be a bit limited.
