Feel free to send git-formatted patches for bugs you see in manual pages (or elsewhere).
I would be happy to do my best, but I admit to be total ignorant of how to git-format anything :-/
No problem, git can be hard to learn.
Please, could you point me to an easy tutorial on how to do this?
I see in your patch file this command:
The routine would be: * edit the files that need editing * git add the changed files * git commit -m "Commit message" * git log/git log -p to review the commits * git format-patch -1 (or hash-id) to produce a git-formatted patch
I found this tutorial nice when I started with git: http://schacon.github.com/git/everyday.html
diff --git a/src/man/sssd-ldap.5.xml b/src/man/sssd-ldap.5.xml
Are there other tasks I need to complete before or after? Thanks Marco
